SWEET LOVE DEDICATION
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON
Created by Australia's incredibly talented cake sculptor Trina Thomson exclusively for ICSA, this large sugar feature has been created as a very special ode to her daughter. "How to Tame Your Dragon" was her daughters favourite movie as she was growing up.
The moral behind this trilogy (and sugar feature) is definitely child worthy learning.

2025 GLOBAL SUGAR ARTISTS' COLLABORATIONS

In 2025 we're offering two exciting global sugar artist collaborations. They differ from other online collaborations in that you can choose to participate exclusively online or participate live at International Cake Show Australia (OR BOTH)! Each collaboration offers an opportunity for every creative, regardless of you skill level to be involved. Regardless of where in Australia or across the world you live if you can't make it to Brisbane to the show, there is an option for you to participate and to showcase your work to the world.

Online & Live Sugar Artist Collaboration
This is an opportunity for cake decorators and sugar artists around the world to become actively involved in the show. The beautiful 6m x 6m walk-through Floriade Flower Market is their creation. It's designed to showcase floral artistry from around the world. This year the flower market collaboration has been designed so ALL SUGAR ARTISTS can join, not only traditional floral artists.

The Ultimate Australian Cake and Cookie Decorating Competion at the show is the largest competiton in Australia. It's bigger than the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Brisbane Ekka. Everyone is invited to enter, regardless of where in Australia or the world you live, or your experience level
This competition differs from other competitions in Australia as it focuses on your personal growth rather than competing with others. It's a serious competition, however it's designed to help you learn, and to grow. Most importantly it's designed to encourage you to do your best, be creative and have fun. We encourage and support you to step outside your comfort zone.

TICKETED WORKSHOPS & CLASSES
One Hour Mini Classes
The hands-on mini classes are one of the most popular activities at the show. They're perfect for those on a budget or if you're time poor. When bookings open, book as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment. These classes are such great value tickets usually sell out long before the show doors open. Full Day Workshops
If you're wanting to take your cake or cookie decorating journey further or to upskill, the hands-on workshops are for you. The show flies the best in the world to Brisbane to teach and share their sills with you. If you are an absolute beginner there's even an excellent foundation class for you.

ABOUT THE SHOW & ACADA
International Cake Show Australia is the largest show of it's nature in the Southern Hemisphere. However it isn't owned by a big business. It's owned and operated by an incorporated not-for-profit industry based association, the Australian Cake Artists & Decorators Association Inc (ACADA), which is owned by it's members. The majority of Cake & Cookie Artists teaching and demonstrating at the show, are ACADA members.
Over the last three years a huge number of Australians have ditched their long term careers and started home based baking businesses. The Cake & Cookie decorating industry within Australia is ENORMOUS.
Most of the talent team working at the show are home based decorators. They volunteer their time to showcase the amazing skills within our industry, not only within Australia but worldwide! ACADA's objective is to inspire you to learn, create and grow. ICSA Cake Show is held as a not for profit community service.
