More than 100 FREE demonstrations will be held across 5 stages.
International Cake Show Australia (ICSA) is held annually. It's Australia's largest cake, cookie, baking and sugar art show. It's a fun filled, family frendly event spread across three exciting days. Sweet enthusiasts from all Australian States, and 27 different countries travel to Brisbane each year to soak up the sweet atmosphere, upskill, compete and shop till they drop. ICSA is designed to defy reality, to inspire you and encourage you to have a go and to stretch your boundaries.
Expect celebrity chefs and sugar royalty galore! Nowhere in Austalia will you find so many Australian and global sugar superstars in the same place at the same time. They'll all be at ICSA to share their skils with you. ICSA is packed full of learning opportunities. ICSA showcases all forms of unbelievable sweet edible art includng huge mind blowing sugar features. Don't miss the huge new walk-through sugar feature, the "Sweet House of Horror".
Want to test you own boundaries? Enter Australia's Ultimate Australian Cake & Cookie Decorating Competition. More than 200 entries will be on display at ICSA.

Hands-On Workshops
Each year ACADA flys super talented cake and cookie artists from
around Australia and THE WORLD to ICSA to share their skills with you.
The 2024 workshops are amazing!
All tools, materials and equipment are provided. All classes are taught step by step, so are suitable for all experience levels, including beginners. Check the class notes for details. Each workshop has limited numbers so if you are interested please book early to avoid disappointment.

TWO-DAY INTERNATIONAL CAKE-OFF
Theme - Medieval with a Twist!
Be inspired, watch and learn, or just enjoy the entertainment as thee of the world's most talented extreme cake artists, take on Australia's best. They'll be battling it out on the Super Star Stage all day Friday & Saturday. This is no mean feat, they've travelled from across the world to compete. They're hungry to win the title of "World's Best Extreme Cake Sculptor". What does extreme cake sculptor mean? It means unbelievable WOW POWER and BIG!
Hold onto your seats! Your host for this event is the super funny, super talented Rosie Dummer (Rosie Cake Diva). Rosie is an ex airforce helicoper pilot who is now a UK TV celebrity and multi award winning, extreme caker in her own right!

Join the LIVE COLLAB Instalation Team
Let your imagination run wild! Rarely is there an opportunity to work as part of such a highly motivated, super talented team of sugar artists, creating a HUGE show feature. If you're not quite ready to create your own huge "Battle of the Sugar Giants" feature, this is the next best thing.
You'll be working with a team lead by multi award-winning fine art creatives including, Trina Thomson from Sweet Ruby Bakes and Zoe Byres. Their creative genious and previous award-winning major sugar features have been acknowedged in Cake Masters Magazine, and are renowned worldwide.
Our challenge to you is to create a piece of sugar art that screams spooky. Think Halloween, creepy characters, skulls, monsters, ghosts and ghouls.. things that go bump in the night. Get creative, use colour, use special effects, we want to see things that glow, that growl and that give goosebumps! There are no restrictions in relation to exhibit type or size, it can be a cake, sculpture, cookie, sugar craft, painting etc using any edible medium.
The work of our incredibly talented contributors will be showcased in the House of Horror at International Cake Show, therefore you must be able to deliver your piece to the show. If you're up for some real fun, also enter the piece or pieces you create into the Global Sugar Artists Collaboration. See below!
