ABOUT THIS AWARD
The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards are the most coveted decorating awards within our industry. You're invited to nominate an individual you feel is worthy of receiving this prestigious award. This award is designed for the luxury wedding cake designer, who has a unique style. Every design will be breathtaking. It will make you stand back and think "WOW". They will understand the importance of listening and taking a thorough brief and executing it perfection. This person will work in the high end of the wedding cake market. They will charge more than their peers, however their cakes will definitely be worth it. When you stare in awe and soak in the beauty of their designs, you'll get the same feeling you do when you walk into a luxury store. The winner of this award will be recognised by their peers and customers as being one of the best haute couture wedding cake designers within the industry.
NOMINATION & VOTING RULES
To nominate you and your nominee must reside permanently within Australia, New Zealand or Papua New Guinea. You are only allowed to submit ONE nomination per award category. Any duplicate nominations will be deleted.

5pm on 10th January 2024
ANNOUNCEMENT OF NOMINEES & VOTING PROCESS
All nominees for this category will be announced publicly via the ACADA website. Nominee Badges will be available to download from the website once nominations close. Public voting for the EIGHT finalists will commence on 12th January and close on 20th January, 2024. ACADA's team of professional judges will then select the finalists. Prior to a decision being made, prospective finalists will be contacted and requested to provide several photos of their work, together with their social media links. The judges rigorous judging process has been designed to ensure the integrity of all awards. Only the very best within their speciality move through to the finals.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER
The winner will be announced at the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Black-Tie Dinner at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) South Brisbane on Saturday 13th April, 2024
The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Black Tie Dinner is recognised as the peak event within the cake and cookie decorating industry. Everyone who is ANYONE in our industry will be there! It's a night filled with excitement, anticipation, fun and surprises. Tickets are open to the public! Come mingle with all your sugar royalty, they'll be there and ready to party.
