Floor Plan

Check out the floor plan. Get to know your location and neighbours. The floor plan is still with the build company for final safety approval. If there are any changes we'll up date them here. If you have any queries please don't hesitate to call Joan on 0412 100 750. We expect all stands to fill.

Stand Payment

All stands are allocated on a first in first served basis. No stands will be reserved until your booking form and full payment is received.  If you've booked via payment plan, final payments are due now. 

Sweet Street stands are already highly discounted, therefore full payment is required at time of booking. No discounts apply. 

Invoices will be issued once you have completed and returned your booking form. Payment is available via direct deposit or credit card. Credit card payments will incur a 1.75% credit card fee. Please contact the organiser via email [email protected] or 0412 100 750 if you'd like to organise a credit card payment. 

Stand Inclusions

Download the stand specifications to assist with planning furniture requirements, layout or signage. Please note these dimensions are for a standard 3m x 3m stand. All walling is white (not grey). If you have a larger stand you will need to take this into consideration. However, the height and width dimensions of each wall panel are standard regardless of the size of your stand. If you've ordered a standard shell scheme stand (rather than floor space,  your stand includes: 
Fascia board signage on every aisle facing side. The name on the signage will be the name you elected on your booking form. If you require a name change please let the organiser know on 0412 100 750 or via email urgently now. 

2 x LED Spotlights per 3 square metres (ie for each 3m x 3m area)

Carpet - No carpet is included. If you require carpet please contact Exponet (our Exhibition Build Partner)

Standard Power.  Standard power is enough to operate one or two small electrical appliances such as a laptop and microwave or EFTPOS terminal. If you are planning on using multiple electrical appliances such as a mixer, refrigerator, printers etc, please consider an electrical upgrade. Exponet will be able to advise and assist you. Last thing we want you (or us) to experience is a power failure or a blackout so if needed please consider an upgrade.

Dress Your Stand Pretty! 

Each year the ACADA executive committee selects the best dressed stand at the show. The 2025 best dressed stand will be announced in May, after our next committee meeting. The winner will receive a complimentary 3m x 3m stand at the 2026 show. 

If you are using trestle tables please ensure you have a black cover or table cloth if possible. We're working hard to make sure the show looks amazing. The stand build will 
be 100% fushia (hot pink!). Fascia Board printing is in black! We'll be offering a prize again this year for the best dressed stand. The 2025 show theme is Easter Carnival. A well-dressed (or crazy stand) will attract people to your stand as well as make the show look fantastic.

Bump In / Bump Out 

Bump In :    Thursday 10th April - Between 7am - 5pm 

Please note things have changed at the new venue. Professional traffic wardens will be on duty to ensure a smooth bump in for all. It's essential to schedule your dock bump in time. Please download the Dock Reservation Form, complete it and email it back to Joan McDermott, the show's event organiser  via [email protected] as soon as possible. Times will then be allocated on a first booked first served basis. Please note you have access to the show via the foyer all day, however the loading dock will only be accessible from 7am - 2pm.
Please remember Thursday is considered a build day. Its a safety requirment that a high vis vest/shirt and enclosed shoes must be work by everyone on site. No children 18 years or under are allowed on site

No Access to Forklifts

If you are having stock loaded onto palettes being delivered, please ensure you book a truck with a powered tail gate. There will be a  pallet jack on site, however there NO FORKLIFT availability. 
Bump Out :     Sunday 13th April from 5pm 
The show closes it's doors at 4pm. Competitors will bump out from 4pm - 5pm
Then it's your turn. Please pack up and move items to the aisle areas so the 
build company can dismount as quickly as possible. All items must be removed 
from site on Sunday night as the venue is booked on Monday morning. 

Please remember from 4pm on Sunday is considered a build day. Its a safety
requirment that a high vis vest/shirt and enclosed shoes must be work by
everyone on site. No children 18 years or under are allowed on site

Freight & Freight Storage and Collection
Freight is to be delivered on move in and collected on bump out days. If you are organising freight to be delivered by a transport company please ensure it is delivered on bump in day and no earlier as  the venue doesn't have storage or hold facilities.

If you need stock or items pre delivered we strongly suggest the use of a freight forwarding company who can transport, hold and deliver your stock on bump in day for you. A list of major freight providers, with link throughs are listed below:

There are no forklifts on site, so please ensure you ask your transport company to use a vehicle with a tail gate so any pallets can be lowered and moved onto a pallet jack. There will be a shared pallet jack on site. Please remember to return it to the back wall of the show or the dock area when you are finished using it. Sharing is caring 

Freight labels are required. Please ensure all pallets or boxes are clearly marked with the following information.

Outgoing Stock: 

Please ensure any pallets awaiting collection are fully packed, wrapped, labelled and left at the on the delivery dock ready for your courier or freight forwarding company to collect on Sunday night. 

Cleaning & Rubbish Removal

All packaging and rubbish must be placed in the commercial rubbish bins in the
dock area. This is a requirement during bump in, bump out and during the show. 
It's each vendor's responsibility to ensure their stand and the nearby area is
clean and ready for the next day. The Venue's staff will only empty rubbish
in the allocated rubbish bins. They are responsible for cleaning public areas
and the amenities only. The
y do not clean exhibitor stands during the show.
The cleaning of your stand is your responsibility. This also applies during
bump out. All rubbish including empty pallets must be taken with you. In the
event rubbish is left in your area and a cleaner ​is required, or a forklift
hired to remove palets or items remaining, the cost will be passed onto you. 

Parking

There is ample parking immediately underneath the new venue.  There is a fee, however if you prebook your parking requirements online via a one day or short term subscription you'll receive a substantial discount. Its a flat discounted rate of $16 per exit. Please note parking at BCEC is NOT SUITABLE for trucks or tall vehicles.  If you need to park trucks the best option is Musgrave Park, which is closeby. It offers FREE parking.   Check out BCEC's parking fees, availability  or book opposite.

Join the Fun - You're invited to the Cake Oscars!

You've probably noticed now we've launch the Cake Oscar Awards social, media goes wild! News about the Cake Oscar Awards and the Gala Black Tie Dinner go viral! The gala dinner is an amazing night. Anyone who is anyone within our industry will be there.  It's a fantastic networking opportunity.  YOU'RE INVITED! If you're interested please lock in your tickets quickly. Vendor Lanyards & Show Passes

Get in early! Email the names of everyone working on your stand so we can email you your complimentary three day passes. We'll also have vendor / sponsor lanyards available for you during bump in. Names should be emailed to Joan McDermott via [email protected] as soon as possible
Accidents  and Medical Incidents
There will be a medic on site. In the event of any medical incidents or emergencies

Want a Huge Crowd?

We're doing everything possible to attract a huge crowd, however to make International Cake Show Australia a huge success it takes a team effort! The more you promote the show, the larger the crowds will be. That means the more EVERY vendor, and sponsor will benefit. To achieve a bumper crowd and to make Australia proud, you need to do your bit.

Advertising & Promotional Material

We've printed 25,000 flyers and hundreds of A4 posters. Several vendors and sponsors are already distributing show and competition flyers nationally with every mail order they send out.  We have more and will get more if needed. Partner with us. Attract Visitors to Your Stand

We'll help you. We're thrilled to offer you COMPLIMENTARY 3 DAY PASSES (valued at $75 each) to use for promotional purposes. If you'd like to run some social media competitions to help spread the word and to encourage your customers to visit your stand please let us know. We'll issue them ​to you. You can then easily reassign them online to the winners. To organise passes for competition purposes email [email protected]. Think of other innovated promotions like a certain number of give-aways for the first people to visit your stand. Be creative! 

Raffles & Give-Aways

Did you know International Cake Show Australia is owned and operated by ACADA. ACADA is a not-for-profit incorporated association. We run the show every year at a loss, to help you grow, and to grow our industry. To help recoup some of our costs we run a number of raffles and give-aways each day.  Donating product for the raffles is a great way for you to give back whilst raising your profile! Raffle prizes are announced on the load speakers daily. Manildra Group is the first company off the ranks. Every year they donate a palette full of flour and product which is raffled off at the show. If you're not in a position to donate product, make sure you pick up some raffle tickets from the ACADA stand! ​To donate prizes or give-aways email [email protected]

The Ultimate Australian Cake & Cookie Competition

A key feature at ICSA is the Ultimate Australian Cake & Cookie Decorating Competition. It's designed to encourage others to become passionate about cake and cookie decorating. When they do, they buy from YOU and you benefit. Help us make the Ultimate Australian Cake & Cookie Decorating Competition grow by promoting it to your customers, friends and family. Public Liability & Product Certificate of Currency
​

Please email a copy of your public liability certificate of coverage as soon as possible to [email protected]. It must be valid for the full period ​of the show. 
Food Vendor's License - If You Plan to Sell Food

If you are a Sweet Street Vendor, or selling food at the show you will need to email a copy of your food vendors license as soon as possible. All legislated requirements relating to selling food will be applicable at the show including food labelling and food storage. Please email your food lisence to [email protected]
Food Sampling

If offering samples of food please let us know so we can forward you a
​Food Sampling Form. It's a requirement from the venue.  Email [email protected]

Electrical Testing & Tagging

If you are bringing any electrical equipment to use at the show, please ensure it's tested and tagged prior to your arrival. We, our build company and the venue have a legal obligation to ensure the show is a safe environment. They will be doing inspections. If you're electrical appliances haven't been tested and tagged Exponet's electrician will provide this service for you at a modest charge. Testing and Tagging is important to ensure there aren't any unforeseen circumstances that will interupt power service at the show. We want all vendors to be happy!
