If you've always wanted to learn cake decorating, this is a great place to start your novelty cake decorating journey. Award winning Cake Artist Zoe Byres will make cake decorating seem so easy, even for the absolute novice. In this half day workshop you'll be introducted step by step to a wide range of decorating mediums. The skills you learning within this workshop will provide you with the skills and confidence to progress on to far more complex novelty cake decorating projects.
All tools and materials needed are provided. Why not bring a friend, learn and have fun together. Be warned though, cake decorating is ADDICTIVE!

TECHNIQUES COVERED:
How to design and carve a simple novelty cake
How to ganache and cover ususual shapes
How to use a variety of mediums and techniques to create texture
How to create faux food items including lettuce, tomato, beef pattie, burger and chips or deep fried onion
rings
How to use an airbrush to create depth and shading
How to add finishng touches and details to really bring your cake to life
This workshop includes making glaze, using dusts and creating extra details
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE HOME:
At the end of the workshop you'll take your incredible burger home in a box provided.
PREREQUISITE: This class is suitable for all skill levels including beginners - No prerequisite required
INCLUSIONS: Ticket price includes 3 day International Cake Show Australia pass. All tools, equipment and
materials supplied. Please bring an apron and bottle of water if required. At the end of the class you will be
provided with a cake box to transport your gorgeous work home to impress your friends and family.
