The definition of a STATEMENT CAKE is one that is over 1 metre high and that has phenomenal WOW POWER. It should amaze you. This award is to recognise Australasian Cake Artists who go to extraordinary lengths to extend the boundaries of what is normally expected in a cake. All cake artists will be acknowledged after voting has closed, but before Finalists are announced. We would like to congratulate every cake artist responsible for these magnificent creations. You are all winners in our eyes. In this particular category your vote is to be based on the cake, rather than the creator, therefore we have asked all the cake artists involved, not to comment on their cake. I'm sure however that they will be reading every comment that you make.
*If you have nominated a beautiful cake and it doesn't appear here, its due to the cake nominated not meeting the height required or the definition of a statement cake
