VOTING OPEN SOON!
Who can nominate or be nominated
The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards are open to everyone. These prestigious awards are to identify, recognise and reward the "Best of the Very Best" talent and businesses within our industry.
To win an award of this calibre is every cake or cookie decorator, sugar artist, chocolatier, pastry chef, or business' dream.
To encourage nominees to grow, to aim for the stars and to embrace competing at an international level, this year we have opened several awards up to our sweet community globally. The global symbol below indicates anyone, anywhere in the world (including Australia) can be nominated (or self nominate). Any category not including the global symbol, means nominees must be permanent residents of Australia, New Zealand or Papua New Guinea

Judging process
When nominations close, all nominees will be announced. Public voting will then occur. With the exception of the "Best Product of the Year Award" All business award finalists and winners are determined entirely by the number of votes they receive.
To ensure the credibility of the awards, all non-business award winners are determined by a combination of public voting and the decision of ACADA's international panel of multi-award winning judges. Four finalists will be selected for all categories with the exception of the Haute Couture Wedding Cake Designer of the Year Award, which will have eight (8) finalists. In order to proceed, the Haute Couture Wedding Cake Designer of the Year finalists must agree to complete a huge challenge, most would shy away from, however the best of the best will be hungry to accept. They must design and create a haute couture cake in a "Winter Wonderland" theme, that's a minimum of 1 metre tall. Their cakes will be displayed in the Haute Couture Wedding Cake Designers' Marquee at International Cake Show Australia. The public at the show, and ACADA's panel of international judges will select the winner.
