Regardless of whether Margie picks up a cake knife or paint brush, magic happens! Her classes are always in high demand. She is fun, witty and has an incredible way of sharing her skills and making sugar modelling seem incredibly easy. Margie is one of two cake artists who have recently been recognised world wide at the Cake Masters Magazine Awards for creating the world's best international show piece. She was the co-creator of last year's huge "Barrier Reef Sugar Feature" at the show, that has now been featured by the media world-wide! In this workshop you'll not only have fun, you'll be learning from one of the world's best!

LOCATION: International Cake Show Australia, Brisbane Showgrounds Exhibition Building

LEARNING In this fun filled class Margie will teach you how the professionals make sugar figurines. Starting from a base OUTCOME: of a small polystyrene ball she will show you how to build up fondant to make facial and body features and
how to add the colour and details that will add character, make your figurines pop and bring them to life.
You will also learn the importance of internal structure. At the end of the workshop you'll take home two
figurines and have learned the skills of sugar modelling. You'll treasure the skills you learn in this class for
the rest of your life!
INCLUSIONS: Ticket price includes 3 day International Cake Show Australia pass valued at $60. All tools, equipment and
materials supplied. Tea and Coffee provided. Please bring a light lunch, an apron and bottle of water if
required. At the end of the class you will be provided with a cake box to transport your gorgeous work
home to impress your friends and family.
