The Wedding Design Brief
Concept: "The Winter Wonderland Fiesta"
They must design and create a bespoke luxurious multi tiered haute couture statement cake that is a minimum of 1 metre high, that beautifully bridges the groom’s preferred noble "winter wonderland" wedding theme with the bride’s vibrant, carnival-spirited Spanish heritage. Their challenge is to dare to be different, and to create something truly impressive and unique
The finalists statement cakes will be on display in the Haute Couture Wedding Cake Designers Marquee at International Cake Show Australia. The winner will be selected by a combination of public votes and the votes of ACADA's multi award winning global judges. On Friday 31st July and Saturday 1st August, 2026 when you visit the show, don't forget to vote for your favourite.
The winner will be announced at the Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday night 2nd August, 2026
