Check out the floor plan. Get to know your location and neighbours. The floor plan is still with the venue for final safety approval. Please note your stand may have been moved to another close location in order to fit in large vendors. If there are any changes we'll up date them here. So you can plan for any furniture and signage requirements please carefully read your stand's specifications and what items are included in your package,
Please remember ALL items including any stock, displays, banners or additional signage CANNOT extend beyond your booked space and/or stand allocation. Please consider this when you are planning. There are very strict safety requirements about aisle widths. NO ITEMS at all including, displays, stock, banners or signage can be place outside of your booked space. All walling is white (not grey). If you'd like signage printed for any inernal or exterior walls please contact our Exhibition Partner. If you have a larger stand you will need to take this into consideration. Please note the height and width dimensions of each wall panel are standard regardless of the size of your stand. If you've ordered Floor Space Only, you will be allocated the space only. A maximum of 10amp Power will be provided by the organiser. Professional traffic wardens will be on duty to ensure a smooth bump in everyone. It's essential to schedule your dock bump in time. Please download the Dock Reservation Form, complete it and email it back to Joan McDermott, the show's event organiser via [email protected] as soon as possible. Times will then be allocated on a first booked first served basis. Please note you have access to the show via the foyer ALL DAY from 7am - 6pm. If you arrive and the door is locked. call Joan on 0412 100 750 and she will organise to let you in. The Loading dock WILL ONLY be accessible from 7am - 3pm. PLEASE NOTE: You will only have access to the dock during your dock reservation time. We have a huge number of features and exhibits bumping in, in order for bump in to run smoothly for everyone please complete and return your Dock Reservation Booking form to Joan via [email protected] as soon as possible. We will then confirm whether your preferred time is available, if not we'll organise a time directly with you. All vehicles will have 15 minutes unloading time allocated for the dock area. Please unload, organise for your vehicle to leave, then return to relocate stock to your stand. We have organised discount parking for you. Details are below A shared pallet lift will be available. Please read the paragraph below about forklifts - NO FORKLIFTS will be available on site unless booked through Expo Event Services directly by you. It is essential for eveyone that will be on site anytime during BUMP IN / BUMP OUT, that prior to coming on site you have completed BCEC's Compulsory Online Safety Induction.
All day THURSDAY, and SUNDAY from 5pm are considered a build day. There are strict legislated safety requirements. YOU MUST wear a high vis safety vest / jumper and enclosed shoes if you are inside the show or need access to the dock. The dock wardens will turn you away, if you don't comply. No children 15 years or under are anywhere on site during at these times. Help us keep everyone safe. If you are not wearing safety gear and are on site, during these times you will be requested to leave. The venue's safety team will be patrolling the venue during these times.... there are heavy fines! If you don't have a safety vest, there is a safety vest vending machine in the foyer, immediately outside the shows entry |

If you are having stock loaded onto palets being delivered, please ensure you book a truck with a powered tail gate. There will be a shared pallet jack on site, however there are NO FORKLIFTS available on site unless they are prebooked. If you don't prebook a forklift for when your courier or truck arrives, it may be turned away. In the event you need forklift service you will need to organise this independantly through Expo Event Services. Please note THERE WILL BE A FEE. The show closes it's doors at 4pm. Competitors will bump out from 4pm - 5pm. Then it's your turn. Please pack up and move items to the aisle areas so the build company can dismount as quickly as possible. All items must be removed from site on Sunday night as the venue has a new event bumping in first thing on Monday morning.
IMPORTANT: Safety Requairements Please remember from 5pm on Sunday SAFETY GEAR is required. Make sure you pop on your safety vest and have enclosed shoes as soon as the shoes doors close at 4pm. No children 15 years or under are allowed on site |

Freight is to be delivered on THURSDAY 30th July (Move In Day) and collected on SUNDAY night 2nd August from 5pm (Bump Out time). If you are organising freight to be delivered by a transport company please ensure it is delivered on bump in day and no earlier as the venue doesn't have storage or hold facilities. If you need stock or items pre delivered we strongly suggest the use of a freight forwarding company who can transport, hold and deliver your stock on bump in day for you. Special Instructions: Phone Joan McDermott upon arrival on 0412 100 750 Your Stand Number: The stand numbers on the floor plan are now correct There are no forklifts on site, so please ensure you ask your transport company to use a vehicle with a tail gate so any pallets can be lowered and moved onto a pallet jack. There will be a shared pallet jack on site. Please remember to return it to the back wall of the show or the dock area when you are finished using it. Sharing is caring! Outgoing Stock: Please ensure any pallets awaiting collection are fully packed, wrapped, labelled and left at the on the delivery dock ready for your courier or freight forwarding company to collect on Sunday night. |

All packaging and rubbish must be placed in the commercial rubbish bins in the dock area. This is a requirement during bump in, bump out and during the show. It's each vendor's responsibility to ensure their stand and the nearby area is clean and ready for the next day. The Venue's staff will only empty rubbish in the allocated rubbish bins. They are responsible for cleaning public areas and the amenities only. They do not clean exhibitor stands. The cleaning of your stand is your responsibility. This also applies during bump out. All rubbish must be placed in the skip bins provided and empty pallets must be taken with you. In the event rubbish is left in your area and a cleaner is required, or a forklift hired to remove palets or items remaining, the cost will be passed onto you.

There is ample parking immediately underneath the new venue. There is a fee, however if you prebook your parking requirements online via a one day or short term subscription you'll receive a substantial discount. Alternately download the discount QR Code opposite. Its a flat discounted rate of $20 per exit. You will be recharged at each re-entry
Trucks and Tall Vehicles Please note parking at BCEC is NOT SUITABLE for trucks or tall vehicles. If you need to park trucks the best option is Musgrave Park, which is closeby. It offers FREE parking. Check out BCEC's parking fees, availability or book opposite. |

You've probably noticed now we've launch the Cake Oscar Awards social media goes wild! On the Saturday night of the show we host the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Dinner. Anyone who is anyone within our industry will be there. It's a fantastic networking opportunity. YOU'RE INVITED! If you're interested please lock in your tickets early. This event SELLS OUT event EVERY year.

Get in early! Email the names of everyone working on your stand so we can email you your complimentary three day passes. We'll also have vendor / sponsor lanyards available for you during bump in. For safety reasons we need to record the names of everyone working on site. This includes demonstrators, you, your team, suppliers or volunteers (if on site during the show or bump in/out). Names should be emailed to Joan McDermott via [email protected] as soon as possible

We're doing everything possible to attract a huge crowd, however to make International Cake Show Australia a huge success it takes a team effort! The more you promote the show, the larger the crowds will be. That means the more EVERY vendor, and sponsor will benefit. To achieve a bumper crowd and to make Australia proud, you need to do your bit.

We've printed 25,000 flyers and hundreds of A4 posters. Several vendors and sponsors are already distributing show and competition flyers nationally with every mail order they send out. We'll help you. We're thrilled to offer you COMPLIMENTARY 3 DAY PASSES (valued at $75 each) to use for promotional purposes. If you'd like to run some social media competitions to help spread the word and to encourage your customers to visit your stand please let us know. We'll issue them to you. You can then easily reassign them online to the winners. Did you know International Cake Show Australia is owned and operated by ACADA. ACADA is a not-for-profit incorporated association. We run the show every year at a loss, to help you grow, and to grow our industry. To help recoup some of our costs we run a number of raffles and give-aways each day. Donating product for the raffles is a great way for you to give back whilst raising your profile! Raffle prizes are announced on the load speakers daily. Manildra Group is the first company off the ranks. Every year they donate a palette full of flour and product which is raffled off at the show. Public Liability & Product Certificate of Currency
Please email a copy of your public liability certificate of coverage as soon as possible to [email protected]. It must be valid for the full period of the show. |

Do You Plan to Sell Food or Provide Food Sampling?
Vendors selling food at the show must be preapproved by the organiser and the venue. If you plan to sell or provide food sampling of any type of baked goods or sweets please compete and return the Food Supply Request form opposite. Once completed and signed please email it, together with a copy of your current Food License to [email protected] as soon as possible. All legislated requirements relating to selling food will be applicable at the show including food labelling and food storage. |

Will You Be Cooking On Your Stand?
If you are planning to be using any cooking appliances on your stand, you are required to complete and return an application for Cooking Permit. This is a safety requirement required by both ICSA and BCEC (the venue). Please complete this form and return it to Joan via [email protected] urgently, so she can get this ticked off by the venue for you. |

Electrical Testing & Tagging
If you are bringing any electrical equipment to use at the show, please ensure it's tested and tagged prior to your arrival. We, our build company and the venue have a legal obligation to ensure the show is a safe environment. Our build partners and the venue safety team will be doing inspections. If you're electrical appliances haven't been tested and tagged Expo Event Services' electrician will provide this service for you at a modest charge. Testing and Tagging is important to ensure there aren't any unforeseen circumstances that will interupt power service at the show. We want all vendors to be happy! |
