The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards are the most coveted awards within Australasia. They celebrate the achievements of the best of the very best cake and cookie artists, haute couture wedding cake designers, pastry chefs, chocolate artisans and businesses within the industry.

We've had an unprecedented number of bookings this year. We've had to put a TEMPORARY HOLD ON TICKET SALES until all finalists are announced. Once finalists have had an opportunity to purchase their gala dinner tickets, ticket sales will be reopened. Once reopened tickets will be released to those registered on the waiting list. They'll be allocated on a first registered first served basis. All finalists will be announced within the next three weeks. Please be patience, you still have a chance to secure tickets. We apologise for any inconvenience, we promise to book a far larger venue next year.
There's no other event in Australia like the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Dinner. It's a night where the achievements of the best of the very best in our industry are recognised and celebrated. Very rarely will you find this many Australian and international celebrity pastry chefs, sugar crushes or businesses in the one room at the same time. Anyone who is anyone will be there, and they’ll all be ready to party! The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Award winners will be announced on the night. This year the Gala Black-tie dinner is being held to coincide with International Cake Show Australia. It's on Saturday 14th May at the Royal International Convention Centre, Bowen Hills, Brisbane. It's a huge night!
Everyone's Invited!
International heavy weights including Dorothy Kerck, Julia Usher and Molly Robbins will be there. Monica Cavallaro, Paul Bradford and Carlos Lischetti will co-host the night. If you're a cake or cookie decorator, chocolatier or pastry chef (or associated business) this is a must attend event. If you're interested, a word of warning.... BOOK EARLY.... tickets sell out quickly The optional dress theme this year is "CANDYLAND" so expect a fun time!
