The Large Retailer of the Year Award is one of the industry's highest honours for retailers operating two or more bricks-and-mortar stores. It recognises the businesses that provide the strength, stability and leadership that help the cake, cookie and sugarcraft industry thrive. These retailers invest heavily in delivering exceptional customer service, an innovative and comprehensive product range, expert advice, reliability, education and meaningful support for the decorating community, while continually raising the standard for our industry. They are the steel foundation and scaffolding that support the growth of cake decorating across Australia and New Zealand. The winner is determined entirely by public vote, making this award a true reflection of the trust, loyalty and respect earned from decorators, customers and industry peers. Being named a finalist is a remarkable achievement, and being crowned Large Retailer of the Year at the prestigious ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards of Excellence Black Tie Gala Dinner is one of the highest accolades a retailer can receive.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF FINALISTS
All successful finalist for this category will be announced publicly via the ACADA website. Finalist Badges will be available to download from the website once finalists are announced. Prior to a decision being made, nominees will be contacted and requested to provide 6 photos of their work, together with their social media links. A rigorous judging process has been designed to ensure the integrity of all awards. Only the very best within their speciality move through to the finals.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER
The winner will be selected based on a combination of public votes and the decision of a team highly acclaimed award-winning industry judges. The winner will be announced at the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Black-Tie Dinner at Rydges Hotel, Southbank on Saturday night 1st August, 2026.
The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Black Tie Dinner is recognised as the peak event within the cake and cookie decorating industry. The "who's Who of our industry will be there! It's a night filled with excitement, anticipation, fun and surprises. Tickets are open to everyone! Celebrity Pastry Chef Adriano Zumbo will be your date, he's your MC and host for the night. Come mingle with all your sugar royalty, they'll be there and ready to party. This is a sell out event every year. If you're interested in going grab your tickets quickly as they are already starting to sell out!
Tickets Include: 4 hour beverage package, 3 course silver service dinner, awards presentation and there will be giveaways on the night. Don't forget to dress up, this year's optional dress theme is "Masquerade"
