ABOUT THIS AWARD
We realise the difference winning this particular award can make to a business, therefore there is a rigorous judging criteria to ensure the winner is determined fairly based on the quality and usefulness of their product, rather than the business' popularity, marketing or social media savvy.
Once public voting has commenced, every nominee will be contacted and requested to provide six samples of their product. These will all be rigorously tested by our highly professional panel of industry judges. The judging panel are prohibited from having any ambassadorial affiliation or allegiance to any nominee.
Unlike other awards two awards will be presented for this category. THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE award will be based solely on public vote. The OVERALL WINNER will be determined based on both public vote and the judges scores.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF FINALISTS
All successful finalist for this category will be announced publicly via the ACADA website. Finalist Badges will be available to download from the website once finalists are announced. Prior to a decision being made, nominees will be contacted and requested to provide 6 photos of their work, together with their social media links. A rigorous judging process has been designed to ensure the integrity of all awards. Only the very best within their speciality move through to the finals.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER
The winner will be selected based on a combination of public votes and the decision of a team highly acclaimed award-winning industry judges. The winner will be announced at the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Black-Tie Dinner at Rydges Hotel, Southbank on Saturday night 1st August, 2026.
The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Black Tie Dinner is recognised as the peak event within the cake and cookie decorating industry. The "who's Who of our industry will be there! It's a night filled with excitement, anticipation, fun and surprises. Tickets are open to everyone! Celebrity Pastry Chef Adriano Zumbo will be your date, he's your MC and host for the night. Come mingle with all your sugar royalty, they'll be there and ready to party. This is a sell out event every year. If you're interested in going grab your tickets quickly as they are already starting to sell out!
Tickets Include: 4 hour beverage package, 3 course silver service dinner, awards presentation and there will be giveaways on the night. Don't forget to dress up, this year's optional dress theme is "Masquerade"
