The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards are the most coveted awards within our industry in Australasia. You're invited to nominate a product you feel is worthy of receiving this prestigious award.
This is the innovation-driven category. The Best Industry Product of the Year is designed to celebrate the tools, ingredients, and technologies that have fundamentally changed the way we create.
This award is the ultimate global seal of approval for manufacturers, inventors, and product creators. It recognises a product—be it a revolutionary new fondant, a precision tool, a game-changing airbrush, an innovative decorative medium—a piece of equipment or machinery, or that to die for colour range, that has made a measurable impact on the industry over the past 12 months.
Winning this award doesn’t just put a trophy on the winner's shelf; it puts their product on the global map. It tells every cake artist from Brisbane to London that their creation is a "must-have" in their toolkit.

- Problem-Solving Brilliance: Does the product solve a common "pain point" for decorators? Does it save time, reduce waste, or make a difficult technique easier, or accessible to beginners?
- Unrivaled Quality: Is it manufactured to the highest standards? We are looking for products that perform consistently every single time they are used.
- Versatility: Can it be used in multiple ways? Products that offer "more bang for your buck" or cross-over applications (e.g., a chocolate that performs like a modelling paste) catch the eye of the voter.
- The "Wow" Factor: Is it a world-first? We celebrate the brave creators who bring something entirely new to the bench.
- User-Centric Design: Is it ergonomic, easy to clean, or packaged in a way that makes the artist's life easier?
NOMINATION & VOTING RULES
To nominate your nominated product must be distributed within Australia, New Zealand or Papua New Guinea. You are only allowed to submit ONE nomination per award category. Any duplicate nominations will be deleted.

5pm on Sunday 29th March, 2026

Nominee Badges will be available to download from the website.
All nominees for this category will be announced publicly via the ACADA website and social media.
Public voting for the four finalists will commence shortly after nominations close. To ensure the integrity of this award, each nominee will be required to provide three product samples which will be tested by ACADA's team of professional judges.
