Meet the Finalists
Winner Selection Process
Voting for finalists will be opened progressively. All nominees will be announced. You are invited to vote for your favourite to be selected as a finalist.
Eight finalists will be selected for the Haute Couture Wedding Cake Designer of the Year Award. The finalists will be selected based on a combination of public vote and the votes of Wedding Industry professionals. Each finalists will be asked to complete a challenge which will be showcased at International Cake Show Australia in the Haute Couture Marquee. The public and Wedding Industry Judges will vote at the show to select the winner.
Four finalists will be selected for all other award categories. With the exception of some business awards, the finalists will be chosen based on a combination of the number of public votes they receive together with the scores of ACADA's highly experienced industry judges.
The online retailer, small retailer and large retailer of the year award finalists and winner will be selected based purely on the number of public votes they receive.
All finalists will be announced publicly. The winners will be announced at the ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Dinner to be held on Saturday 12th April, 2025

The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards are the most coveted industry awards within Australasia. They celebrate the achievements of the BEST OF THE VERY BEST cake and cookie artists, decorators, haute couture wedding cake designers, pastry chefs, chocolate artisans and businesses within our industry.

The ACADA Australasian Cake Oscar Awards Gala Dinner is recognised as the utltimate event for our industry within Australia. Global sugar heroes, industry leaders, cake and cookie artists, decorators, chocolate artisans and pastry chefs travel from all around Australia (and the world) to attend. Each year they lock the dates in indelible ink into their diaries. It's their MUST attend event.
All the celebrities working at International Cake Show will be there and ready to party, including Chef Benny Rivera, Dorothy Klerck, Marta Hidalgo, Paul Delaney, Chef Ken Tian, Mary Precissi, Marta Torres, Sarah Theaker, Leah Walton, Dan Greensill, Cheryl Moore, Trina Thomson just to mention a few.

A word of warning, if you're planning to attend, PLEASE lock your tickets in early.
Tickets are limited and sell out early every year.
Although there is a very serious side to the Gala Dinner, you'll have the oppoirtunity to network, mix and mingle with your peers, all your sugar crushes and with our industry's leaders.
They'll all be there.
Your host is UK extreme caker, TV personality and ex pilot, Rosie Dummer (Rosie Cake Diva). Rosie is your MC and will entertain you throughout the night.
Tickets include a four hour drinks package (wine, champagne, beer and soft drinks), 3 course silver service dinner, and a complimentary gift bag packed to the brim with industry products. The value of your gift bag is usually worth more than the Gala Tickets.
Dress Code
This is a black tie event (cocktail dress is acceptable).
The 2025 optional dress theme is
"Shine Bright.... on this night You're A Star"
Come dressed ready for the red carpet, true Hollywood Oscar style!
